Ages 6-9: 10:15AM-12:15PM
Creative Theatre: The Pirate Show

Have you ever wanted to star in a play you helped create?  Children are guided, by the instructors, through a process where they play theatre games, create a story, and work together to make that story into a working theatrical production. Our larger theme is a pirate show, complete with pirates, princesses, water fights, and treasure!  All sorts of pirate fun! The final day is a performance of their original play for parents, family, and anyone else who wishes to come.

Ages 10-14: 12:30PM-2:30PM
The Pirates of Penzance (Part of our Classics series)

Poetry Module I: 2:30 to 3:15 (runs 6 of the 10 weeks; free program)

An evening of 19th century fun, as we bring to life the classic story from the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta (just the story, not the music). The pirates face off against the Major General's daughter's-with swords! Our first swordplay show for the Hunterdon performers; the students will learn basic stage combat and how to fight while keeping things safe and exciting to watch.

Included in the program, our free Poetry Module. We take classic 19th century poems and stage a poetry battle between the pirates and the daughters before the show (the module is only for those who want to do it, it is not mandatory. )

Location: Camp Tecumseh / 445 Mechlin Corner Rd Pittstown NJ
Cost for all programs: 140.00 per student
